Solar Eclipse: 2024 Eclipse Will Differ From the 2017 One

If you missed the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017, you have another chance to witness this rare and spectacular phenomenon on April 8, 2024.  Graphic of a   total solar   eclipse A  total solar   eclipse  occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, blocking the sun's light and casting a shadow on the earth.  During a total solar eclipse, the moon completely covers the sun and reveals its outer atmosphere, called the corona , which is normally invisible to the naked eye. The 2024 total solar eclipse will be different from the 2017 one in several ways.
