How to Open an M-Pesa Business Till in Kenya

To open an M-Pesa Business Till in Kenya, you need to follow these steps:

1. Visit a Safaricom retail shop Safaricom retail shop or authorized agent. 

You will need to provide your business name, ID number, and proof of address. 

The agent will then activate your till number and give you a SIM card with M-Pesa Business Till activated. 

You can also call Safaricom Safaricom customer care on 0722 002 222 for assistance.

2. Download the M-Pesa Business App from Google Play StoreGoogle Play Store or App Store. 

This app will allow you to manage your till and access other features. 

You can also use USSD by dialing *234*2# on your nominated number.

3. Sign into the app using your store details, either store number or till number. The store number is the number you received through an SMS. 

The till number is the number displayed at your business premises for customers to make payments.

4. Accept the terms and conditions and start using your M-Pesa Business Till.


M-Pesa Business Till is a great service for businesses in Kenya that want to collect payments from customers and use the money to make other transactions.
